Social Responsibility

Flagstaff Mall is proud to be a community partner. We strive to meet community challenges through a combination of employee volunteerism, financial support, in-kind donations and partnerships with non-profit organizations which have missions consistent with our vision and values.

Community Partnerships

Rescue Me! Pet Adoption Center

Flagstaff Mall & The Marketplace serves as the host site for a not-for-profit 501c(3) pet adoption center.  Rescue Me is a branch of the Flagstaff Humane Association.

Salvation Army Angel Trees

Flagstaff Mall & The Marketplace serves as the host site for the Salvation Army Angel Tree program from Day after Thanksgiving to December 24, benefiting northern Arizona youth. The Angel Tree program matches donors with children from qualified families unable to provide gifts and clothing to their children during the holidays. For many donors, the personal connection to a child in the community has become a special tradition. This program is a wonderful opportunity for people to give back to their community through a fun and heartwarming tradition

Northland Hospice Light-A-Life
Flagstaff Mall will hosts the annual Light-A-Life Memorial Tree Program from Day after Thanksgiving to December 24.  Spanning more than 20 years the Light-A-Life program reinforces Flagstaff Mall’s position as a community partner.   This program gives the community an opportunity to remember or honor someone special in a meaningful way through dedication of a holiday light on a Christmas tree.

Contribution Requests
Each year, Flagstaff Mall, contributes funds in the form of Gift Cards, merchandise and use of property to a diverse group of organizations. Hundreds of requests are anticipated each year. Donation recipients may include civil organizations' education programs; food banks; foundations; hospitals and healthcare organizations; youth programs; performing arts and museums and many more. Each request is reviewed carefully, however, not all requests can be granted.
